Education Continued
Objective 3: To encourage both general education and especially Christian education:
- Conduct a Mock Graduation Ceremony on 21 February 2009.
- Conduct a Career Guidance Day where we invite institutions and local schools to participate.
- Promote Christian education in our church and work with Helderberg College
- Promote our Adventist schools
- Source information brochures from SPA and inform the church about available books and prices etc.
- Inform the church about useful and important church websites and resources such as books, DVDs.
- Promote SDA TV channels such as Hope and 3 ABN and inform the how to install it and the prices etc.
- Work with the Sabbath school department to ensure that children recite Bible verses every week during Sabbath school.
- Promote SDA literature by conducting two Literature Exhibitions.
Project: Conduct 2 World Views Workshops AND Daniel and Revelation Seminars.
- Explain different world views.
- Educate the church about the Biblical and Adventist world views.
- Conduct Daniel and Revelation Seminars.
Objective 4: Establish a Local Adventist Services and Industries (ASI) Chapter.
Activities:
- Recruit all professionals and business people to join as members.
- Establish a schools project where our members volunteer to address students at Langa township to encourage and assist them with a variety of skills
- Identify and inform the church about scholarships.
- Run at least 2 seminars – on relevant issues
