VOP Department
MISSION: “Preach the word: be prepared in season and out of season; correct rebuke and encourage –with great patience and careful instruction.” 2TIM 4:2
VOP or Bible school Coordinator: We are part of the outreach ministry to the Local community. It is our duty to promote the VOP Bible Correspondence School in the Local Church and Local Community. It is also our duty to organize & coordinate outreach ministry using Lessons, Tracts, Cards, Videos & DVDs & Books.
2009 PLANS FOR LANGA CHURCH
1) ORGANIZE TRAINING ON HOW TO GIVE BIBLE STUDIES & MAKING HOME VISITS.
2) Supply or order Bible school lessons, Tracts, Cards, Videos & DVDs for individual church members or church Departments for the outreach programs.
3) LANGA PRAYER MINISTRY: using Tracts. 100 families to be visited
4) ORGANIZE LANGA BIBLE SCHOOL: using Cards & Lessons. 200 bible study students
5) Organize graduation for students at the end of Bible School lessons program.
6) INVITING FAMILIES FROM LANGA COMMUNITY TO OUR CHURCH PROGRAMS: using Invitation letters.
LANGA PRAYER MINISTRY
- This will be the outreach program for the whole church once or twice a month.
- We will focus on one arrear of Langa for this ministry.
- We will work on two by two home visitations and each person will be assigned only one family or home.
- We will ask those families if the have prayer request. Pray with them in their homes and continue to remember their pray requests in our prayers at our homes.
- Give these families Tracks each time we visit them.
- Record their names & address, their prayer requests & their needs.
